Writing On series has been developed to help students learn basic writing skills and to use these skills to improve their English. It is designed to teach students necessary grammar and writing skills while their focus and interest on the topic. Each book of the series has a unigue theme. Each book introduces different tenses. Book 1 introduces present tenses; book 2, past tense; book 3, future tenses. This helps students understand grammar better.

The story gives students a preview of the writing and grammar patterns that they are going to learn. Students will be able to match the topic and story to realize what they need to write in the end. Furthermore, knowing many words is the key when it comes to writing. Students are introduced to different kinds of exciting word comprehension activities such as puzzle, matching and fill in the blanks, etc. With these exercises, students will enhance their word usage.

>Do You Know? & Now I Know!
When it comes to writing, it is essential to know the sentence patterns. This is why many students train themselves with grammar in writing lessons. In this section, students can learn different types of grammar tips, This section will make the grammar easier to understand and students will be able to  use the tips  in their writing. Students are also asked to find or write correct answers as a review part from "Do You Know?" section. The questions will be any of choosing multiple choices, making sentences, rewriting sentences, fill in the blanks and unscrambling the the words, etc.

>Remember This! & Still Remember?
This section is a second part of "Do You Know?". In this section, more tips will be introduced for students to enhance their writing skills. Students are asked to find or write correct answers as a review part from "Remember This!" section. The questions will be any of choosing multiple choices, making sentences, rewriting sentences, fill in the blanks and unscrambling the words, etc.

>I Spy Mistakes! & I Spy Answers!
In this section, students are asked to read a short paragraph that it is similar to the main story and to correct the red-colored words that are incorrect. This will review how well the students have understand the whole unit by rewriting the passage. Then, another similar passage or chart will be introduced. Students are required to read the passage or comprehend the chart and answer the given questions. It is to check students' ability to comprehend WH-questions.

>Let's Warm-Up! & Write On Now!
With the writing tips from the previous parts, students will be able to organize their own ideas as a preparation to writing, They can also draw a picture to keep themselves focused while gathering their ideas. Once the students have gathered enough ideas in "Let's Warm Up!" section, they are required to write and share their story in full sentences. This last section will be the completion of the whole unit and students can find the improvements of their writing skills. Also, teachers can make a comment in the teacher's comment box and put a sticker on the sticker box as a small reward for students' hard work.
