인디언 인형처럼! 드디어 Omri가 손꼽아 기다리던 생일! 그렇지만 가장 친한 친구인 Patrick에게 선물받은 것은 겨우 작은 인디언 인형일 뿐이었어요. Omri는 많이 실망했지만 친구를 위해 기쁘게 인디언 인형을 받아서 튼튼한 벽장에 넣고 열쇠로 문을 잠가버렸답니다. 그런데 그 열쇠는 그냥 평범한 열쇠가 아니었어요. 바로 Omri의 할머니의 할머니가 가지고 계시던 신비한 열쇠였답니다. 열쇠로 문을 잠근 순간, 인디언 인형이 살아나서 실제로 움직이기 시작했답니다! Omri와 작은 곰이라는 이름을 가진 인디언 인형은 많이 다르게 생겼지만 곧 특별한 친구가 되었어요. 과연 Omri가 아무에게도 들키지 않고 작은 곰과 계속 친구가 될 수 있을까요?

Trying to hide his disappointment, Omri puts the Indian in a metal cupboard and locks the door with a mysterious skeleton key that once belonged to his great-grandmother. Little does Omri know that by turning the key, he will transform his ordinary plastic Indian into a real, live man from an altogether different time and place! Omri and the tiny warrior called Little Bear could hardly be more different, yet soon the two forge a very special friendship. Will Omri be able to keep Little Bear without anyone finding out and taking his precious Indian from him?
