공주의 생일이예요.  It's Princess's birthday.

이건 뭐예요  "What's this?"

선물이란다.  "It's a present."

우와~ 황금 공이다. "Wow~ A gold ball!"

고마워요 아빠 "Oh, thanks, Daddy!"

 

우물 옆에서, 공주는 공을 던지고 놀았어요

By the well, she throws the ball.

 

공이랑 놀아야지 "play with the ball~"

풍덩 Splash!

공이 우물속으로 빠지고 말았네요 It falls into the well.

안돼, 어떡하지 "Oh, No! What shall I do?"

 

"Boo hoo~"

왜 울고 계신가요? 청개구리가 말했어요

"Why do you cry?" says a little green frog.

 

내 황금공이 우물속에 빠졌어

"My gold ball is in the well!"

 

내 공을 갖다주면 내 왕관을 줄게

"Get my ball and I'll give you my crown."

 

오 난 그런건 원하지 않아요 "Oh, I don't want that!"

난 친구가 필요해요 "I want to be your friend!"

좋아 뭐든지 들어줄게 공을 갖다줘 "Ok! Please get my ball!"

 

청개구리가 공을 가져다 주었어요

여기 있어요 "Here it is!"

잘있어  "Good bye. frog~"

공주님, 공주님, 친구가 되어 주세요

"Princess! Princess! please be my friend!"

 

저녁 식사시간에 at dinner,

 

문을 두드리는 소리가 들렸어요

There is a little knock on the door.

 

저게 무슨소리지? 왕이 물었어요

"What's that sound?"

 

징그러운 개구리예요 "It's just an icky frog."

 

징그러운 개구리가 왜 여기 있지?

"An icky frog? Why is he here?"

 

제가 친구가 되어 준다고 약속 했거든요

"I promised to be his friend."

 

무슨 일이 있어도 약속은 꼭 지켜야 한다

"Always keep your promise!"

 

작은 청개구리는 성으로 들어 왔어요

The little green frog comes into the castle.

 

이젠 피곤해요! 잘시간이에요" 개구리가 말했어요

"Now I am tired!

It's bedtime!" the frog said.

 

아! 넌 끈적끈적한 개구리란 말이야!

목욕탕에서 자!

"Ooh! you're an icky frog! sleep in the bathroom!"

 

하지만 왕이 말했어요

약속은 언제나 지켜야 한다니까!

But the king says "Always keep your promise!"

 

공주는 개구리를 자기 침대 위에 올려 놓았어요

Princess puts the frog on the bed.

 

갑자기 개구리는 온데간데 없고 멋진 왕자가 나타났어요

Suddenly, there is a handsome prince.

 

어머나 세상에! 멋진 왕자님이시네!

"Oh, my! It's a handsome prince!"

 

감사합니다.

"Oh, thank you!

 

나쁜 마녀가 마법을 걸어 그만 개구리가 되었던 거예요

하지만 당신이 나를 친구로 대해 주어서 나쁜 마법에서 풀려났답니다.

A bad witch did some magic!

So there is no more bad magic!"

 

공주와 왕자님은 결혼을 했어요

Princess and the handsome prince marry.

 

두사람은 아주 행복 했지요

They are very happy.
