Developed in accordance with the English Language Curriculum Guide (Primary 1-6) issued by the Education and Manpower Bureau for Implementation in 2005. Each story is based on themes that are familiar and appealing to children.
* A variety of text types, e.g. stories, riddles, menus, etc.
* Fun surprises, e.g. flaps, pop-ups, stickers, etc.
* A Picture Dictionary is included in each storybook.
* Key structures and letter sounds covered in each story are clearly listed to provide a quick reference for students, teachers and parents.
* Double-sided Flash Cards make teaching and learning more fun and effective.
* Activity Sheets for each story help students consolidate the language structures and letter sounds learned. Activity Sheets are free and in PC format so that teachers can adapt them if necessary.
* A detailed Teacher’s Guide for each story suggests a wide range of pre-reading, reading and post-reading activities. |
